We went for pre-op today. We were there for almost 3 hours. Yawn!
The anesthesia lady ordered lab work for AC at the last minute and AC had a freak out. Today was the first time she's ever had her blood drawn. The nurse put some cream on her arms so she wouldn't feel it when they took the blood but by that time she was already worked up so it didn't matter.
On the way home we had lunch with Rusty then stopped at the Mall of Georgia. AC got a new friend at Build-A-Bear to take with her to the hospital.

Sounds like AC has been a "stand up" woman all through this medical journey. She is so precious holding her Dr. Sarah Bones bear with her beary nice surgical scrubs. I will remember to check in with the blog and Josh to see how her surgery goes. My prayers are with AC and your whole family.

I love Dr. Sarah Bones! How awesome is that. Surely she will be making the trip to the hospital tomorrow. Our prayers have gone before you and will be with you, even if I am not able to make it. I am also praying for you and Rusty, as I know this will be much harder on you than on Anna Cate. We love you all so much!
