We have an appointment!!! September 1st, 9:10 a.m.
It seems like forever from now but I'm praying that time will fly!
They told us to just treat her symptoms until our appointment but to change her from Motrin to Tylenol to cut down on the tummy aches. I have to go get a hard copy of the scan to take with us to the appointment but other than that I guess we just show up.
Now we wait...again.
My sweet mother-in-law shared some scripture with me this morning. It was just what I needed to hear:
Isaiah 41:13
For I am the LORD, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.

Waiting is definitely the hardest part. You know, our lives changed forever almost 4 years ago when we moved in across the street from y'all. Y'all have been the most wonderful friends, have taken care of me when Wesley has been at the firestation, dropped me off at friends houses when I couldn't drive legally (ha!), came to the rescue when I had a possum in the garage, etc., so it is my turn to really be there for y'all. Please do not hesitate to call anytime, whether it be for dinner, "garage time," or ketchup. My favorite verse -- I Peter 5:7.
